Sling M16

I am retired Special Police officer (Antiterror unit), but still active in training, practicing and I also teach official organizations and departments. I have been an active participant of Croatian Homeland War, since 1991 – 1995, and now I am retired since 1999.

In the beginning of War for independence in Croatia, we had so much trouble with lack of weapons and missing equipments, because in beginning we had no Army, only Police forces. So, we used what we can.

Well, we used old Yugo army equipment, which was not good and useless, but we could not choused, so we defended our country with what we had. Today is different story. Croatian army had risen to be a solid army with quality weapons, gear and equipments.

After the War and my retirement from Police, I have established a company named SPECWOG® for teaching, practicing and share experience of Combat arts to official departments of Police, Military, Security organizations, as well as civilians.

In my work I use different kinds of weapons, equipments and gear, which we use for tactical and combat situations. So, good gear is essential, and this fact is known to every soldier and police officer. With good gear we can do our job much better and easier. So, we use some products from CombatKit Company (CKC).

I found tactical slings from CKC very useful. In past we had a lots of trouble with old weapons slings, because it was very heavy (leather), very thick, short, made a noise (metal parts), and it was very hard to manipulate weapon with those slings, which is essential in combat.

So, we in Specwog found the slings from CKC very useful, good quality, strong and easy to manipulate. The slings are strong and allowed officer to remove rifle quickly if needed in different tactical situations, no matter of field combat or urban combat. The plastic, but strong parts allow changing sling easy, and do not make noise, which is essential in quiet tactical operations, also do not rust. The wide sling allows to better control of the rifle and sling fits well over back and shoulder.
