CLCS Heavy Plate Carrier

I have been using the CLCS Heavy Plate Carrier for some time now. It's a sold vest, well-built and will not fall apart on you. It has a lot of PALS webbing so you can attach a great number of pouches on the vest. This gives me a lot of flexibility in customizing the vest for missions. It is very comfortable to wear, thanks to the broad, padded shoulder straps. There is also a lot of room to adjust the vest to either your body size or if wearing on top of soft armor. It is not bulky and rides well, does not shift when you are moving around. It is also comfortable when wearing an assault pack. The side zipper-closure makes donning and doffing the vest quite easy, and does not require the help of your buddy.
