Drop Leg and Modular Attaching System

I'm a member of an anti-terror unit of a Croatian “Special Police” (SWAT full time). I’m working in the force for 5 years and using CombatKit equipment for last 3 years on an every-day basis. For last 15 months I was in UN mission on Kosovo, where I was also using CK equipment.

Taking in consideration the job I'm performing I find myself very often in situations where I need to tactically adjust my equipment to specific type of task and to the other equipment I'm using. In the past I had problems with equipment with fixed pouches especially for pistol magazines, flash bangs, smoke grenades, gas masks and etc. Nowadays I use CombatKit drop leg MAS panel which solves the problem. I find drop leg MAS very practical in every day usage because it allows me to place on it all the equipment and items that I don't wish to carry on my tactical vest. By using this piece of equipment chance of direct hit and activation of explosive devices on the vest (torso) is eliminated. CombatKit drop leg MAS panel allows me to reach pistol magazines easy and quickly, same goes for flash bangs. Panel also helps me to balance the weight of my equipment since I'm using drop leg pistol holster on my right leg. In case of need the pouches are easily removed and replaced with other MOLLE compatible pouches (ex. First aid pouch or Gas mask pouch). In my opinion especially good solution are 50mm buckles that allow quick and easy detachment in case that equipment needs to be thrown away. Material is very grateful and durable. I highly recommend this piece of equipment to all SWAT and Spec. Ops. Operators as a very useful, high quality and long lasting.
